Home for three days

It was great to spend three days at home.  One realizes what a great place Victoria is to live in and living downtown how easy it is to go to the grocery store, the hardware store, the drug store, the Notary (to tell the British Pension people I am still alive!), etc. There was even time to go for a bike ride and a hike! Home cooking was good too!

The trigger to go back to British Columbia for three days was because it was cheaper to fly back from Atlanta return than to pay the extra travel insurance premium. Every five years the premium goes up 70,75,80 etc.

Back in Atlanta now in 33C. My friend Hugh arrives in two days time and we will carry on the prime motivator of this trip - visiting the sites of the American Civil War.
