An enjoyable evening with two Georgians
Neighbors at the FD Roosevelt State Park were retired teachers Leonard and Kay. He had taught horticulture and agriculture in high schools and she had taught elementary schools. Helped by Barbecued Chicken and some excellent home made wine we had a most enjoyable and informative evening. They had lived in Georgia, north west of Atlanta for most of their lives where he had a horticultural business on an acarage. We discussed many issues - the civil war and its aftermath, Georgia to-day, gun control, the 2nd amendment, how teachers are organised in Georgia, cannabis, millennials and their smart phones, travelling and RVing. It was a pleasure to meet them.
